IPAF OPERATOR CERTIFICATEDuration: One Day Target Group: Any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are involved in using mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPS). Aims: The aim of the training is to provide candidates with the necessary information and instruction in the safe use mobile elevating work platforms MEWPS including scissor lifts, boom lifts, trailer and van mounted booms.
IPAF DEMONSTRATOR CERTIFICATEDuration: One Day Target Group: Any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are involved in demonstrating mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPS) to operators. Aims: To enable the candidates to carry out the required tasks involved in the role of Demonstrator, which is to familiarise operators with their responsibilities, and demonstrate pre-operational and safe operating procedures, and the limitations of MEWPS.
IPAF SAFE USE & INSPECTION OF HARNESSDuration: Half Day Target Group: Any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are required to use and inspect safety harnesses when using MEWPS. Aims: To instruct a user to select, inspect and use a harness and associated equipment safely when operating MEWPS. IPAF MEWPS For ManagersDuration: 1 day Target Group: Supervisors and Managers who co-ordinate MEWP operations. Aims: To instruct the Supervisor/Manager in the requirements to prepare for and safely co-ordinate MEWP operations within their control.
