 Generation Training Services are full members of the International Powered Access Federation who promote the Safe and effective use of powered access equipment; and are able to supply full accredited training and issue the PAL Card (Powered Access Card) confirming competence of operatives. IPAF OPERATOR CERTIFICATEDuration: One Day Target Group: Any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are involved in using mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPS). Aims: The aim of the training is to provide candidates with the necessary information and instruction in the safe use mobile elevating work platforms MEWPS including scissor lifts, boom lifts, trailer and van mounted booms. IPAF OPERATOR RENEWALDuration: Half day Target Group: Operators who have a CURRENT IPAF Certificate and Card can apply to RENEW their licence if they meet the following conditions...
Operators who meet the criteria can attend a half day RENEWAL course. Delegates must successfully complete the IPAF Theory Test Paper before moving onto a practical test. If the required standards are achieved the license will be renewed.
IPAF DEMONSTRATOR CERTIFICATEDuration: One Day Target Group: Any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are involved in demonstrating mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPS) to operators. Aims: To enable the candidates to carry out the required tasks involved in the role of Demonstrator, which is to familiarise operators with their responsibilities, and demonstrate pre-operational and safe operating procedures, and the limitations of MEWPS.
IPAF SAFE USE & INSPECTION OF HARNESSDuration: Half Day Target Group: Any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are required to use and inspect safety harnesses when using MEWPS. Aims: To instruct a user to select, inspect and use a harness and associated equipment safely when operating MEWPS.
